Senaptec

One of the newest pieces of equipment we’re using with our drivers is the Senaptec Sensory Station. Measuring and improving contrast sensitivity allows an individual to detect objects faster in low light, fog, or glare. Check out Senaptec in action in the video below and see it live at PitFit Training!

Pit Fit Prepared – Pit Crew Edition

AJ Foyt Racing has had a secret weapon in the pits. Chris McFadden, who worked for us preparing the Pirtek Team Murray first responders for the 2016 pit stop competition is now onboard with us again and working with the pit crews for both Tony Kanaan and Mattheus Leist. His background and expertise in the IndyCar pit stops has had a huge impact, this military veteran was over the wall at  the Indy 500, Detroit and last weekend in Texas!
PITFIT RACE RECAP

Speaking of the Indy 500, a well deserved congratulations to Will Power! In 2009, Will Power (official) came to us after signing a 5 Race deal with Team Penske. He knew this was an opportunity of a lifetime. At Sonoma he was involved in a horrible crash that broke his back and left him in a brace for 3 months. He never quit, even while we pushed him through his rehab. Sometimes, we used strategies like showing him where he was going. He came through and was signed full time with Team Penske. Even after moving to NC, he remained a friend to our program. Well, you know the rest. Congratulations Will. There isn’t a driver in our program who felt you didn’t deserve the win. #indy500
PitFit also saw a podium sweep at the Freedom 100 in Indianapolis back in May…and driver Colton Herta swept both races in dramatic fashion, hoisted a few trophies and captured the attention of quite a few IndyCar Teams.
PitFit Drivers Scott Dixon and Alex Rossi weren’t feeling tired on the long two race weekend for the Dual in Detroit. Champagne anyone?
Lots of stamina and a nice recovery out of PitFit Drivers Tony Kanaan and Charlie Kimball, finishing P7 and P8 in race #2 in Detroit. Way to go, gents!
